What we do
Strategy, identity, and digital experiences. One connected practice.
Mahd Mehn brings strategy, brand identity, and digital design into the same conversation. We are interested in what happens when the idea, the way it looks, and the way it works are developed together.
First, find the direction
Strategy starts with understanding. Who is this for? What needs to change? What should someone understand, feel, or do? These questions help turn an open brief into a direction that can guide real decisions.
The aim is clarity rather than a document full of impressive words. A useful direction gives the creative work something to stand on. It also makes it easier to explain why an idea belongs, and why another one does not.
Give the idea an identity
Brand identity is how a point of view becomes recognisable. A logo matters, but so do typography, imagery, colour, composition, and tone. The work is to make those elements feel like parts of the same world.
Art direction connects those choices. It helps a photograph, a piece of writing, and a digital interface carry a shared intention. A visual identity should have character without making every application look identical.

Turn it into an experience
Digital design brings the idea into use. On a website, the order of information, the rhythm of a page, and the behaviour of an interaction all affect how someone finds their way. We want the experience to feel considered from the first screen to the last small action.
A prototype helps us test a direction before treating it as finished. A design system gives recurring elements a common language. Accessibility asks us to consider different devices, ways of navigating, and needs from the beginning. These are parts of the design, not finishing touches.
The idea, the identity, and the experience should belong to the same world.
Use movement with purpose
Motion can guide attention, show a relationship, or make a change easier to understand. It can also bring personality to a brand. The question is not how much can move. It is what the movement helps someone understand or feel.
We make room for expressive experiments and for quiet moments. Reduced-motion preferences and a clear reading order remain part of the experience. The result should invite exploration while leaving people in control.
One connected practice
A project might begin with a new identity, a website, or a question that has not found its shape. Our approach is to look at the whole before deciding which parts to make. That gives the strategy, the visual language, and the experience a chance to support each other.
The work currently shown on this site includes independent concept studies. They demonstrate a creative direction, not an invented list of client commissions. If you have something in mind, the next step is a conversation about the problem, the possibilities, and the right scope.
